CAUTION: ELEPHANTS AT PLAY

The elephants were very active that afternoon. I guess it was the rain that cooled them off. I have never seen animals at a zoo this active. They were playing with the dirt, rolling balls, and swimming. It was pretty amazing to watch!

"TEXAS WILD!"

Welcome to the section of the Ft. Worth Zoo known as Texas Wild. It has the local creatures that are found in the state of TX. Did not know that jaguars were prevalent here.

So, the lions were roaring and the tigers were active and the bears were pacing.

So, I decided that I should break up the zoo pictures. I have alot and will post them in segments. Clare LOVED the snake house. She looked at each and every lizard, snake, turtle, and other animal in it. I don't know where her interest with snakes comes from.
